MAST ARMS

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS! What
do these pictures say? The photograph to the left is of actual equipment
removed from an idle EAF which we re-designed, modified and fabricated.
The photograph to the right is the finished results. Critical design
elements of this major modification included: changing the electrode
diameter, tightening the arc circle, phase triangulation, changing
the clamping design and attaching to existing vertical columns.
Many of the existing materials were re-fabricated to add to the
savings.
RE-DESIGNING AND RETROFITING is
a very cost-effective way to boost production by utilizing existing
equipment - if a new furnace is not in your capital plans.
